Abstract
The New Methodist Brain and Spine Center is the TMH North Campus Expansion project of the Methodist Hospital Corporation and is located in Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas. The hospital will be a state of the art diagnostic, treatment and critical care center delivering comprehensive neurosurgical care. The facility will incorporate a holistic patient and family focused environment and cutting edge technology. The Center will be approximately a 200,000 square feet facility housing surgery, clinics, diagnostic, rehabilitation, critical care unit, acute care unit and a research center. The surgery suite will be equipped with the world’s most advanced intraoperative MRI, which will support the research center as physicians would perform extensive required research on the nature of brain tumor and stroke.
